UnSeen VIII (from the window of my childhood home)

Artist Statement

I was born in Moscow and have been living in Jerusalem since 2008. The personal archive is the central field for my artwork. The archive includes materials from past decades, some pieces from the childhood period and my family archive, as well as the results of an ongoing daily collecting of pictures, videos and texts.

In my works, real spaces are mixed with ones as if seen in a dream, real-time sensations are mixed with memories, and a new reality is built, one of a collage, hybrid nature.

Lives and works in Jerusalem. Graduated Musrara School of Art and Society in 2020.
