Artist Statement

I like to work in my natural space, most of my work is done at home or in the area around the house. This piece was taken in my house, using a traditional Ethiopian fabric belonging to my mother. With the background of the bars in the window I try to convey the sense of suffocation I felt in those days around my family.

Lives and works in Israel. Graduated Minshar School of Art in 2020.
